Difficult to tell. I do get the impression that, like Sherlock, he is also married to his work. But I'd like for him to have a love life, to be different from Sherlock in that account.

I think Mycroft has a love life.

I think he dates and stuff, but I don't think he's married. Like Veronika said, he's married to his work. In my head canon, however, I think that he has had a few loves/lovers in the past/present - unlike Sherlock. (No offense meant to Sherlock.)

There were some speculations that he and Anthea had a thing but I don't think he would mix his love life into work...

Sofia: I'm one of those people who think that he and Anthea have something going on.

But I can't really tell for sure because the show doesn't really go in their characters' love lives; and that's not a bad thing mind.

That is a very good question.

And I honestly have no idea.

The show doesn't really get into their characters' love lives. I mean, it does, but it doesn't go into a lot of details. Still, I personally think that Mycroft is bisexual. I can see him liking/loving both males and females.
