Yes, that's what I think too, but people wth such cold and formal relationship still care about moments like Christmas and such, even just because it's considered as appropriate to have a family gathering, you know.

but I can't imagine any child of her leaving such a sweet mom, then again, with a father sentenced to death maybe they exsist but are somehow resentful towards her, who knows...

Interesting that you all brought up Mr. Hudson. I wonder where her children are or they're all estranged? Because it seems to me that Sherlock & John are her family now (and same with them).

It would seem rather odd for Mrs Hudson to have estranged children. She is so lovely, who could just break off contact with her? But of course it could be that some big drama happened that would explain it all. I'd also be interested to find out more about Mrs Hudson's backround. I'm still for Mrs Hudson being involved in one of Sherlock's cases somehow and during the investigation, more facts about her life would resurface.

I know, it's just my curiosity about their early reationship, but I guess it would be the same leel of adorableness... I wonder how much of it is because Una knows Benedict from when he was four

I re-watched 1x01 the other day but I completely forgot again but there was a mention of her children? Care to help me remember? My barking dog isn't helping me recall right now.
