I love that John's first scene in the series was him complaining nothing happens to him... three seasons later he most definitely can't say that anymore! He is best friends with a "highly functioning sociopath", he married a spy, he's been to Buckingham Palace (and not as a tourist), held as a hostage, and helped solved numerous odd/intense/crazy cases! I just love his character!
