The Sherlock board is very welcoming.
The numbers are small, but the passion and knowledge is vast!
I'm glad I have found the board and that there's a place we can share our joy in Sherlock.

In my opinion, Sherlock is THE most intelligent program on TV.
Benedict Cumberbatch is the perfect Sherlock Holmes ...
his delivery is impeccable and brilliant as is the cast that supports him,
particularly Martin Freeman as Dr. Watson.
This is a BBC production which is shown on Public TV in the US - thankfully,
commercial-free. The seasons are short, but so richly acted you can feel satisfied.
You will want multiple re-watches of every episode!

I'm glad there is a Sherlock forum here because I've been a fan of
the Sherlock Holmes stories ever since I was a teenager.
The mysteries are fascinating and the characters are wonderful to read about.
This adaptation of Sherlock Holmes keeps the tradition alive while updating
it just enough to embrace the modern times we live in.
Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are amazing in their roles as Sherlock & Watson and make a great team.

I started watching Sherlock when the second season started
because so many Doctor Who fans on tumblr loved it.
I was addicted to it four episodes later like I was probably
never addicted to a show before. Which is impressive considering
it was such a short time span and just four episodes. But that's the beauty of it.
It makes waiting for three episodes for two years worth it
and that says a lot coming from an impatient person like me.
I just know I'll watch these three episodes on repeat for months
like I did with the first two and won't get bored for a long while.
Even after the 221st watch you still see and realize new things,
that's how much thought and detail they put into the episodes and that is just impressive.
I'm proud to be the mod of a board that

Congratulations on 25K everyone! This board has been very special to me
as it is one of my favorite shows and the posters are all very warm, friendly & enthusiastic.
I know that I haven't been posting as much as I used to but I'm glad to know that

When i first heard of this series i was skeptic, Sherlock Holmes in modern days?
Sounded so strange to me, but still, being the Holmesian i am since i was a child i gave it a try and Omg!
I was blown away! I am a very exigent Holmesian, i don't mind adaptations but the characters
and the feeling of the SH stories MUST be authentic, they must feel like real SH stories and
the actors MUST be the characters. I got all my exigences all covered and even surpassed,
which doesn't happen often with SH adaptations! This was two weeks after the first episode had aired
in UK for the first time in 2010 and it's 2013 and I'm still here.
The stories are still as good as they were (despite a couple of slips)
and the main boys have, deservedly, become stars. It took effort at first to get this Forum,
not many had heard of this series, but in the end we managed and look where we are now!
