| Two New Arrivals (Troy's babies are here!) just wanted to announce the somewhat early arrival of Troy's girl twin babies. she went into labour late afternoon on Christmas Day, and had them mid-morning on Boxing Day. Reese Anja Nicole was born at 9:57am on December 26th 2004. she weighs 1lb 11oz and is 26cm long. Halle Ruth Celeste was born at 10:04am. she weighs 1lb 9oz, is 25cm long and has more hair than any baby i've ever seen! both are currently in incubators, because they're 14 weeks early which is a lot. i visited them yesterday and although they're tiny they're both extremely cute! their brains seem to be OK, but they're having lots of breathing difficulties, and the doctors are concerned about Reese's sight. Troy is OK, very tired and worried about her babies of course. she hasn't held them yet, which is upsetting her, but she's proud to have them in the world. congratulations to Troy and Neil!!! pictures up once they're out of hospital. __________________ If you're gonna skate on thin ice, you might as well dance... | |||

| Wow, many congratulations to a proud Mommy and Daddy, and an equally proud Auntie Toria no doubt! The names are just adorable, I love the neat combinations. I'll bet it's really hard to think of two or three names, let alone six! Can I just say that although they were born too early, they'll probably be fine. I was born 13 weeks premature, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with me. OK I had cancer, but that's totally unrelated to when I was born. So you really shouldn't worry too much because I'm sure they'll both be perfect. So yeah, congrats to you guys, and may I welcome Reese and Halle to the world! | wow you guys, thanks for all the messages and notes for Troy and Neil, that's totally sweet of you all! good news! earlier this afternoon Troy held Halle for a few minutes, and she opened her eyes and looked at her Mammy for almost the whole time! they're both breathing better now, and brain scans showed them both up as being normal, so the situation is improving a little. i'm going to take my kids to go see their new cousins tomorrow, so should be havoc lol glad you like the names. in answer to Jesse's question, it's Halle like Hallie, not like Hayley. i think Troy just liked the spelling better lol hopefully more (good) news soon! __________________ If you're gonna skate on thin ice, you might as well dance... | |||
