Young Americans - Stepping down.

3 years ago, if someone told me that I'd be letting go of something that's related to the fandom, I probably would've laughed at them for even trying to suggest such an idea. As I'm writing what might be one of my last posts for a very long time, I don't think that even trying to laugh would make this any easier for me...

I've decided to step down as a mod. I know that a year of moderating isn't really that much as compared with a lot of moderators, but with everything that's going on...I really don't think I can find enough time for the board.

As I've told others, life's become crazier than usual and while it's awfully hard for me to leave, I feel that this is something I have to do so I can handle and prioritize some things. I have some personal issues I need to deal with first, and some things that I have to improve on.

FF has introduced me to a lot of people and has made me become part of an awesome community. I'll always love YA, and I'll always be thankful for everyone who has shared and enjoyed it with me. But as they say, the time has come to say a temporary goodbye. I'll drop by every now and then, and as long as there are still people to share it with, I'll be more than happy to upload videos or pictures if I have the time.

To Anja, thank you for understanding and everything we've shared for the past 3 years...
To Nicky, and all the previous mods, and oldbies, I hope we did justice to all your hardwork by trying hard to keep the board alive.
To the fanfic writers, video and graphic artists, and all posters, thank you, good luck with future projects and keep on spreading the love.
To everyone...

And of course, to the JaHammers, remember that we'll always have DenialVille...

Thank you for everything you've done, Nikki! You've helped make the boards such a welcoming and friendly place to be- even for random lurkers, as I am wont to be at times.

Awww it's sad to see you step down Nikki but I understand that you have other priorities that you have to attend to. Anyway, you won't be completely gone right? Thanks for everything and I'll see you around once in a while.
