I really don't know. Maybe the people who didn't read it at RR thought it was written and published during the SOA4 time, and that's why it got nominated. And since the author didn't write something like "I wrote this years ago", they couldn't have known about it. *thinks* Maybe we should leave it in? Only for the sake of having 2 or more nominations in each category?

How many nominations were sent in at the end? You think we'll get more votes?

Because voting (choosing one of two stories) is a hell of a lot easier than trying to nominate, so maybe we'll get more votes than nominations.

there were 9 nominations in some categories, that was the most. a few only had like 5, and one had 6 different nominations until right at the end. i've had 4 sets of votes in so far. going well

I think (hope) we will get more votes than nominations. I know that I didn't nominate last year because I didn't know who to nominate, but I voted. As you said, it's easier to choose between some stories than to nominate one.
