Hamilton Fleming as a superior latter-day messiah

I agree wholeheartedly. Messiah's premise is interesting, but was executed better twenty years ago.

After Hamilton Fleming, any other latter-day messiah is doomed to disappoint.

Well I wouldn't call Hamilton a messiah But there was a miniseries I watched a few years ago, The Second Coming, that handled the topic similarly but I think better? Maybe because they kept it all a bit on a smaller scale

Did "Messiah" get a second season or was it meant to be only 10 episodes?

I haven't even finished "The Path" yet. Not sure why I dropped the ball probably something work related. But I will get back to it over Christmas. Ample time then. I saw Michelle got cast in a remake of "The Craft".

I think the plan was to continue the show but then Netflix cancelled it. Not surprised tbh.

I've never actually seen The Craft But good for her! She is really one of the most successful of our bunch

There's a remake of The Craft? Is she like a teacher or one of the mums? I didn't know about this but now I'm quite nervous, I loved The Craft (obsessively) when I was a kid so .... I hope they don't screw it up

I was wondering the same thing because there weren't really any adults of significance in "The Craft" except for Assumpta Serna who played the "witch" but then my memory is not what it used to be. But I went back and imdb page says under trivia:

Quote:
Instead of the film being a remake, it is going to be a sequel set 20 years after the original.
And the status says completed...

I hadn't heard about this either.

Apparently David Duchovny is in it. He surely is getting around with the YA cast. First Mark, now Michelle. I wonder who is next?

Ooh it's a film, I dont know why I thought it would be a series. Maybe Michelle is Neve Campbell's character grown up then.

Duchovny is also definitely a YA fan then, he's the one getting them cast in these projects.

Michelle as Neve Campbell's character – that is a possibility.

Also yes clearly! Maybe at some point it will cumulative and David Duchovny will star in a project with Mark AND Michelle etc. etc. until one day it's the whole cast again ... well the cast and David Duchovny but you have to die one death.

Yeah it's one by one, if the next thing Duchovny is cast in has Charlie in it, we'll know we were right all along!

Maybe David is a secret YA fan and uses his shoots with them all to convince them to star in the reboot he's been secretly planning for years!

Of course when either a new project with the YA cast and David Duchnovy or a reboot of YA (also starring David Duchovny) will happen, it can be sponsored by BBQ sauce etc. (see Rodney's Thread).
