Phew, just spent the past five hours with the family. It wasn't by choice, either. I know we're all supposed to love our families, and on some level I do, but I don't get it. All they do is get together, yell over each other(rather than have actual conversations), some people spout blatantly racist and/or homophobic remarks, eat, go home and talk smack about other family members. I just don't want to be around that kind of ugly junk, even if it's my family. They don't get a free pass for being jerks. But if I don't show up I have to hear about how I never do anything with them, or how I don't talk to them and all I want to say is 'maybe there's a reason I don't want to be there or talk to you guys, you're loud, offensive and and just plain mean, maybe I'm not in the wrong, maybe you're in the wrong so go make someone else feel bad about themselves because I'm tired of doint it'.

...Clearly, I need therapy. Sorry, had to get that out. They just drive me nuts, but not the good kind of 'aw, shucks, I still love them' nuts, the bad kind of nuts.

No bigge, Anja, and yeah...I guess not all of them are bad, there are a handful of really good close relatives that I love and all, but I knew at the gathering they were going to be outnumbered by the wrong side of the family. It so wasn't worth it.

In other news, I sort of kind of have an unofficial date with someone this weekend. Part of me is looking forward to it, and part of me wants to cancel because ...well, I'm so not ready to date.If I still somehow find ways to bash my ex's name into every sentence, that means I'm not ready, right?

But maybe that's the point, I won't be ready until I force myself to be ready by dating. I dunno.

Almost done with the first season, just the finale and the secret party left to watch and I love how we get this insight into all the characters and it just makes it so much easier to love them all, even phychotic Tony

and I definately feel the Maxxie love, that episode in Russia was heartbreaking and he looked so adorable (and hot

I didnt think Id be this obsessed judging by the pilot, it was waaaaay too different from what I used to but I thought Id give the rest a try and Im real glad I did, god how adorable is Cassie?

Maxxie, wow, just wow, I cant help squeeing everytime he's on, and I kinda felt for Anwar in the Russia episode at first, I understood the confusion but then he goes and loses his virginity and talk about a hypocrit seriously,

Effy is beautiful

I kinda have this girl crush on her now and I loved how she went through half her episode without a saying word, just wow.

I have the hugest girlcrush on Effy. I think she actually only speaks a few times during the entire first season? That made her so interesting to me. Love her.

Any plans for the weekend? Other than going on unofficial dates?

I finished S1, I loved how everything worked out with Maxxie and Anwar, Anwars dad seems cool

my favourite scene of the season was probobly the good and bad angel thing they played

and god Maxxie is kugfvkjdniufyhdsc,kmnzvkhbd. I pretty much have trouble breathing cause of how amazing he is everytime he comes on,

you just want to hug him when he's all pouty and emo

She's so pretty and I checked her on imdb and she's like ... 2 years younger than me

she's gorgeous, and yeah she says one sentence in Effy and then she says another sentence in the finale.

Also, ... wow I talk too much but can I say how incredible every single one of the actors are? Chris, ... and Cassie, Sid, Maxxie, Anwar (who by the way, is TOTALLY different from how he was in slumdog), Tony, ... just everyone is an amazing actor, Im just not a big fan of Michelles actress though

Umm nope, no plans, went to sign up for classes today, they start tomorrow, ... but I dont actually plan on attending any this week

It's just, I have to get hot for this person, and dang it that takes work. I have to pluck, and deal with make-up, and wear unreasonably tight clothes. And he's like 42, so of course we're going to get looks. And I know I totally need to get out of this older man habit of mine, but...gah. I'm just stop complaining and go have fun.

Then I have to work on Sunday, so that's my weekend.
