Alexa,no worry, you're not alone. There's a multitude of straight girls, including myself, who get a little confused when it comes to Kate and her appeal.

Teri, I think typecasting is a definite possibility. Sadly. But I still say I want her to play a villian.

I love the title!

I'm always worried about her being typecast. I mean, it's great that she's playing all those characters, but sometimes I just want to see something completely different from her.

I worry about type casting for her too, and I think she is just too good an actress for that. I really want to see her in way different roles. I loved the CSI Miami episode, getting to see her in such a different role, even if it was brief.

LMAO. Yeah, its weird. I mean, I think there are a lot of females out there that are gorgeous, or "hot". But with Kate its different. Like, I find myself attracted to her when I watch her on screen! I cant say the same for any other females. It might be because "Shane" is kind of a tomboy but whatever. Shes just cool.

Right. I could recognize when a woman is attractive, but I wasn't drawn to it,her. But with my crush on Kate, there came a point where I was like ''Ohhh, so this is what guys must feel when a woman makes them turn their head...''

You know, it's weird. Kate has a pretty strong female following, but you seldomly hear about any male fans. I know I've come across a few, though.

Ditto. It's one thing to objectively acknowledge another woman's attractiveness. It's quite another to be actively attracted to another woman. Her whole persona is just so... remember that episode when she & Molly go to Jodi's dinner party? And Shane uses the word jijj when explaining that je ne sais quoi feeling you get about someone? Well, I guess alot of this has to do with the audience her work is targeted at. I mean, she's being marketed as this gay icon (and she is an icon, fictional lesbian or not

) so it's only natural that she's developped a following that doesn't necesarily include straight men. I haven't met a guy who's even heard of her, so I'm really interested to hear about the men you know who are fans.

OMG! EXACTLY. That's pretty much how I feel. You know Kate is amazing if she makes strait girls feel that way!

I just love her attitude and demeanor. Like, shes not peppy or loud. I like that she has this calm and collected personality, its just intriguing.
