I agree. The dress didn't fit Jake's personality at all, so it just seemed odd on her. I think they could have picked an equally feminine dress that wasn't quite so frilly that would have fit her much better.

I think maybe she chose to wear it for her mum's sake? Judging from the rest of Jake's wardrobe throughout the season (ie the black dress), it doesn't seem like she generally wears stuff like that. She does tell Ham that story about how she had a dress like it when she was a kid, doesn't she? Maybe she just wants to make her mum happy by wearing it.

^ That is a good point. I think the dress was all a show for her mom, to put out the appearance that would please her mother the most.

yeah that's true. she always wanted her mother's attention. that was actually why she behaved like a boy

Thats a good point, she was only doing it as a way of getting her mothers attention
on the subject of clothes, I really liked the skirt she wore in the finale

Me too! I thought the skirt fit her personality really well. It was feminine but still kind of tomboyish and rock chick all at the same time. Totally her in my opinion.

Yeah, that whole outfit was very Jake, with the skirt and the tanktop. I can't quite believe that the skirt belonged to Bella though.

And don't forget the converse sneakers, they really pulled the whole outfit together and made it totally Jake. And yea the skirt didn't seem like something Bella would ever wear.

Yeah, if anything, it seemed more like Grace's than Bella's...
