| Master Fan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I deserve to be slapped for being so terribly late with this. Bad bad mod! ![]() Anyway. I like how the episode starts and then we almost get a flashback of how we ended up there. Fun! Also, yay for lack of Will-voiceover! I love the growing relationship between Will, Scout, Jake and Ham, and their stupid game. "Hilary, definitely Hilary" is of course the best part of that whole scene. ![]() I don't get why Bella is so denfensive when Scout comes over to ask her to join them. It's her own fault she decided to write the letter in the shop rather than in her room where nobody could walk in and interrupt her. Ah, Grace. How I love her. Ryder is really focused on Will, no? Hehehe. I love the way he teases him and tricks him into playing cards with him. I have to admit, I had a hard time focussing on the scene because of that pen. Will doesn't even realize that Ryder is playing him from the very beginning, is he? Stupid boy. He's always about the rules and doing the right thing and then does something as stupid as playing cards, during the day, in a room with an open door, where anyone could walk in at any time. ![]() I love Scout. I love that he tries to help Will out and Will just refuses because that would damage his "oh, my life sucks, everything is so bad"-situation. Ham's "I'm starved" is such an obvious excuse to get away and to make out with Jake. Ha. No wonder everyone thinks they're gay. Bella finds Will and they can complain about their problems to each other and poor Scout is left out. I love his confused expression when Bella makes up that lame excuse as to why she is there. I love how Ryder describes the jacket as townie slut outerwear and then wears it himself. Hahahaha. ![]() Jake looks so hot in that dress. Jake and Ham are so happy to finally be able to be with each other. Oh Jake. I know it's new to her (to both of them, actually), but Ham really is just trying to be nice and compliments her, and she doesn't take a single thing he does or says seriously and just giggles all the time. I'd be so hurt if I was Ham. *cuddles Ham* But, I do agree with Jake that the ordering for each other thing is a bit too much. Scout is so cute when he tells Bella how he felt when he told his father about her. Will, it's completely your own fault that you lost your computer and that disk to Ryder. If you want to be a good boy and not break any rules, then just don't gamble. End of story. I love the bitchy banter between Will, Bella and Scout after they've stolen the Corvette. And I love Will and Scout's facial expressions when Bella charms the cop. Hehehe. So cute! Ham's "I don't think you know who you are" really hurts Jake. You can see it on her face. *cuddles Jake as well* Dear Bella, next time you want to write a secret letter to your biological father that you don't even want to send and don't want to risk anyone finding it, why don't you try writing it in a less public place than the shop and writing it into your diary or something? *sighs* I get why Scout is mad. But he's taking it a bit far. I like Will in the second Will/Ryder scene. I love their whole conversation, the teasing and the remarks. (They're such a good slash pairing OMG.) Jake and Ham at the docks... "The part about I love you" - "Yeah, that'd be the part" This has to be one of the least cheesy "I love you" scenes in the history of television. Will, Bella and Scout drive to Joe's to get the letter. That's their only reason to drive there. Yet, Bella feels the need to remind Will not to forget about the letter. Huh? Bella reciting the letter to Scout was lovely. Both of them crying definitely made me tear up. Yay, another gang scene! There are definitely not enough of those. The "cute coat" comment still cracks me up. Mostly because the coat is hideous. ![]() __________________ Anja | lj | twitter | icon | roman♥deniz young americans needs you! | |||

| Okay, here goes: Ryder's got a really cool car. And Bella is a crazy driver. I mean, what's with that speed, girl? She almost tipped over during the curves. Cute group scene, with the ice-cream. And the look Ham gives Jake when he says "Hillary" is HOT. No wonder everyone thinks they're gay. When Scout comes into the office Bella looks incredibly guilty. And she's really mean to Scout, who just wanted to invite her along. Bad Bella, poor Scout. Grace is awful, I must say, just taking things without asking. But it's Bella's fault for leaving something so important there. It's all very dramatic, including the ominous zoom on the jacket when she put the letter in the pocket earlier, complete with dramatic music. Okay, I'm feeling the Ryder love. He's hot. He's got a very nice accent, too, and I completely agree about that pen . Will's so stupid, you're almost happy he's lost. Except of course from the trouble he's causing Scout. I love how Ryder's tricking him from the beginning. Go Ryder! Someone needs to push Will of his high horse. And they make it all so dramatic, you'd think it was a western. And what is Will doing, adding his laptop? The look on Will's face when he realizes he's lost... And he was so smug before, too.First time I notice this: Before Ham says he's hungry, Jake gives him this tiny nod. Did you notice that? Like "yeah, I'm ready, find an excuse". I love those two. Scout is so sweet, offering to help Will, and Will's not taking it only because he wants to wallow in his misery. It would've been much easier for him to just loan money from Scout. His "I don't want to bring you into it" excuse is so lame, too. It's not like he's involved with the mafia or anything. And Scout's comment about Jake and Ham? Funny, but did he have to shout in a full room? Have some discretion, man. I like how to cut it to the next two.I love Ham's "they'd never think it about -" pause" me". Like, you're really a girl, so of course you look gay, but I don't. And Jake's teasing is I love how they read magazines together. And am I the only one who thinks Jake looks really hot, crawling up to him like that? I really love how she's dressed in this scene. And also, this is the scene that caused everyone to assume Ham has a shoe fetish ![]() Finn creeps me out. I've never actually noticed this before we started watching this time around. Again, breaking the rules for Will. Bella coming to ask Will for help is cute. Bella eyeing a half-naked Scout is even cuter. Scout is all confused, and she's like (dumbly) "you're all wet". Way to state the obvious, Bella. Scout didn't really buy her lame explanation. Ham and Jake meeting Ryder and Goons - I wonder if Jake doesn't take him seriously because she's really a girl and so his comments doesn't faze her, or because she really doesn't give a **** about anything, least of all bitchy people. I think it's the latter, actually. She's cool like that. Why is Ryder wearing the "towny slut wear"? Good question. Why did Scout follow them? I think he has a good reason to be angry, but why did he follow them? Jake looks hot in that dress, but Jeeze, Kate's tiny. I'm always amazed at how tiny, even though I know to expect it. She's not exactly thrilled with Ham confiscating the bike, but she's not saying anything. Yet. Finn has a really strange handwriting (referring to the note on the door). It's like one of those special fonts from Word. The date's starting good - they're happy to be able to kiss in public. I think Ham taking out the chair is actually sweet. The foxy comment is a little awkward, but she still should've just said thank you. However, I love to see her laugh, so I'm not complaining. Hamilton doesn't understand why she's laughing at him, poor guy. She's a little mean. But somehow, I get the feeling that mentally, she's so much more mature. He gets hurt so easily from little things and reacts childishly, and she just shakes them off. I mean, that line about cross-dressing she-man was completely uncalled for. Scout and Bella. Poor Scout, he's so tormented, and Bella just harps on. And meanwhile Ryder gets away, and Scout's in this mess only because he's such a good friend. Why is it that the moment things don't go Will's way he resorts to violence? Okay, stealing the car in a parking lot full of eyewitnesses? Not a good idea. Good thing Bella knows how to hotwire. The guards were getting suspicious. If I were them, though, I wouldn't have believed Bella that it was her car. Especially since it's the Rawley Boys' parking lot. I like's Ryder reaction when he finds out his car's missing. That's what you get for being late Why is Hamilton ordering for her? That like so 19th century. Haven't you heard women got votes in like, the 1920? He's so childish. And then he gets angry because she tells him he ordered her something she didn't even like. I've got to say I'm siding with Jake here. The scene with the cop is really funny. He's totally coming on to her, and Scout hates it, He's even making that face. And Bella's so smug. When the car doesn't move Will is gloating, the bastard. I'm sorry Will, isn't it you who has a deadline? Hamilton is so nasty when Jake just tries to explain how she feels to him. He's definitely getting black marks this episode. Yeah guys, just throw everything that's in the trunk in the air. Now you're not only stealing, your ruining things, too. Will can be downright nasty when he wants to. It's like, stealing and lying and tricking is okay if you're Will, because he's poor and abused. God, get over yourself. Scout's legitimately angry here, like in most of the episode. And Hamilton saves the day and my opinion of him. Basically, he's a sweet guy. And this scene is so sweet. I love it how they grab all the time. I mean, even though it's a mild kiss, they till need to hold on (see hand on neck). When Bella recites the letter to Scout, it's a really touching scene. Again, tricking Ryder. Something about how they gloat leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Aren't they supposed to be the good guys? Jake's "cute coat" comment? A classic. And there's this silence and Ham's gives her this "watch it!" look, and then tries to say something to divert the attention, and Jake's gets uncomfortable, crossing her arms and everything. The "what? Nothing!" is a little lame, though. So, those are my thoughts! __________________ ~ Call me Lil ~ Only dead fish go with the flow ![]() | |||

| I really like Jake in this eppie. She's not like every girl and she's comfortable that way. I like how her's and Hamilton's relationship is breaking the norms and unwritten rules when it comes to teenage love, it's not usual on TV. They're really queer. ![]() __________________ Brothers and sisters fanfiction I used to be schizo but now we're fine. | |||

Does Will say something like incest boy to scout here? ![]() Loved the group moments, 'hilary, definately hilary' love you Hamilton, and then Will being all stupid with the 'Clinton' comment, Scouts being nice by going over and asking Bella to join but she's being rude, poor Scout.Grace and Ryder????! weird that before this episode I didnt even think of it but it seems logical ![]() And the cards scene, good god I wanted to be that pen I honestly had trouble focusing in that scene cause of how hot he is and since I dont kno anything about how to play cards I just didnt pay much attention to try and figure out whats happening, also, loved his mock impression of Will, ![]() Scout and Hamilton are really sweet offering to help Will but will has to go and drag his friends into it by having them steal a car and make a deal with Joe instead of borrowing their money and paying it back in a timely manner ![]() The crawling over scene so hot. Shiny shirtless Scout, 'you are wet' well yeah duh, and umm ew for checking out your brother.Ryder seems to not have a giant cellphone, yay for getting it right this time. Jake looks much better in black than in pink, and poor Hamilton, tower of testosterone indeed, he has no idea how to be a gentelman. Umm, does the security at the parking lot not know Ryders car, I mean he has been coming to school for a while now and it is a red corvette kinda easy to remember, and umm isnt Bella 15? how can she drive? at Wills 'just breath woman' one of my favourite Will moments.Ooh Jahammers first fight, well honeslty Hamilton was just asking for it with the whole 'lady' comment. 'Im totally in love with' how sweet was that, as Anja said one of the least cheesiest 'i love you' s ever. All in all, loved the episode, though Sean was absent, still awesome, much of ryder which is always love, and Im kinda liking Bella/Will, they can complain about their lives to each other ![]() __________________ THE FEVER CAMPAIGN needs 100 people ON THE LISTShe!da|WillღEmma|Icon:erychan86

| Yeah, I totally forgot about Bella's beginning voice-over, too. I agree it would've been refreshing had voice over duties been shared between the entire cast. I mean, an hour of Jake's voice. Incest Boy is just...weird. ![]() Too bad the group scene didn't last longer. And okay, about Bella and her letter, couldn't she just have put it in a drawer, or her jean pocket or something for the time being? Scout's trying to be nice, and she was just flat out rude(but then, he pretty much returns the favor for the rest of the ep) Yeah, Grace and Ryder. Is your heart broken? I don't know, I don't think they actually hooked up, I just thought he had her tag along because she was in the know about the underbelly of New Rawley and she could get him into the parties and such.Yeah, Will and his 'I don't want to drag you guys into this', but then he pretty much eggs them on into stealing a car for/with him. By the way, Bella, Will and Scout bitching at each other in the car was kind of funny and cute because they sounded like actual immature teenagers. One thing I don't get about Jake and Ham in this ep is, like, okay I get that they have to leave the dorm in order for their story to get going in this ep, but come on...two teenagers aren't going to leave the privacy of a bedroom to go have lunch when they could be ...doing other things. Just sayin' is all. ![]() And Ham was totally asking for it. Seriously, what guy actually orders for the woman? There's nothing wrong with some traditionality, but dang... And okay, really people, Bella's coat is so totally not cute. Who picked that jacket out to be used in this episode? I mean, really?! | |||

Yeah Scout was being pretty rude throughout the rest of the episode too, the whole 'dear diary' moment comment was a bit weird. Oh and one thing that annoyed me was when Scout says his dad could lose his seat on the senate and Bella says 'is that all you think about' ... well DUH, of course its what he's worried about, its his dads career, their whole lifestyle he's not gonna sacrifise that just cause you wanted to write a letter. Yeah my heart is completely broken now I dont think (or rather hope ) they hooked up either, he kinda needed her to get places.Bitching in the car and the whole confrontation with the cop was quite funny, for some reason it reminded me of a similair Friends episode with Rachel and Ross and a cop. ![]() That is true, seems weird that theyd leave the comfort of their room, she could just dress up in there and have dinner ![]() Yeah ordering for your date is never good as w've all learned from many many movies. you have to let them know you care about their opinions ![]() Yeah Bellas coat is, as Ryder put it, townie slutwear and besides cowboy tassles? how lame is that ![]() __________________ THE FEVER CAMPAIGN needs 100 people ON THE LISTShe!da|WillღEmma|Icon:erychan86

| Re: the coat. I don't know what it is, but sometimes ugly clothes become fashionable(look at any recent picture of Lindsay Lohan). I remember that Friends ep, and Ross tries to hit on the cop ![]() And what about Bella and Jake's first exchange at the diner. How cute are they with their meek little hi's and all. ![]() | |||
