Will finds himself in the enviable position of poetry tutor to the girl of his dreams, Caroline Busse, but his nightmare begins when he learns that an obnoxious upperclassman, Ryder, also has his eyes on the prize. Meanwhile, the surprise of a lifetime comes for Bella on her 16th birthday, and rumors fly about Hamilton and Jake's clandestine love affair.

Ryder WALKS down the dock, passes a FRESHMAN who's trying to be suave with a girl. He casually PUSHES him into the water as he passes. Then APPROACHES Will and Scout.

RYDER: Hello, fresh-faced youth of America.

Will and Scout roll their eyes. Not thrilled to see him

SCOUT: Hey, cheap import.

RYDER: If I wasn't so passionately apathetic, that actually might have stung.

RYDER (cont'd): (re: Hamilton and Jake) Young love. Sweet couple. Aren't they?

Will and Scout look over at them.

RYDER (cont'd): I saw them making out in the Common Room yesterday.

WILL: What?

RYDER: Like totally going at it. Hard-core.

SCOUT: Ryder. Just back off, okay?

Ryder laughs. Takes off. He passes the guy he pushed in earlier, who is just now drying off, and PUSHES him back in. As he passes Jake and Hamilton--

RYDER (cont'd): It's nice to see you two enjoying a lovely summer romance.

Jake and Hamilton just look at him.

JAKE: Mad Cow disease pretty rampant back in England, huh?

RYDER: (to Jake, re: Hamilton) She's a pretty one, the Dean's daughter. I'll give you that

I liked it that everyone really thought Jake and Hamilton were gay.

Hey Mia and Nicky, thanx for the great pics of this epi.

Actually it's one of my faves. All characters are in trouble and have to do their best to keep on living and accept the consecuences of their actions [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

Besides at the end of this epi it's the best Jake/Ham kiss, okey, at least the most intense and hot [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

I too think this one of the best epis... maybe it was for Ryder... well let´s face it, it was for Ryder [img]smilies/tongue.gif[/img]

[img]smilies/sigh.gif[/img] Ah, the looooooove. It was so cute how Ham was so serious about not wanting Jake to leave and saying he loved her. What a couple, I have to say...

And I am looooooving the Ryder caps as well -- he's yum to the nth degree.

Another thing would be this -- one of my fave scenes was the one where Ham was hanging out with the guys and says he's moving in with Jake like he's saying he got a new haircut...the dialogue is priceless. After the JaHam fight too, when Ham was on the roof looking morose and Will and Scout wanna know what's wrong... [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img] I love it all.

It was too good to be true. And the changing-money after he leaves because they were all betting each other whether they're really gay [img]smilies/lol.gif[/img]

I agree with Anne, I think they were betting each other whether Jake and Ham were gay.
