Yeah, really. It was a compliment, she should have just accepted it as that. Sure he was going on a bit of a trip being 'a manly man' but unless I'm mistaken, it was the first chance he had to acknowledge their relationship in public.

The 'I love you' scene at the docks is my absolute favourite.

JAKE: [gets up, equally huffy] Me too.

[They both head for the RESTROOMS. Jake gets there first, almost walking into...THE MEN'S ROOM. An awkward beat.]

HAMILTON: Case in point.

[Hamilton goes inside. Off Jake, mortified.]

WHEN I WAS SHOOTING YA [Young Americans] THERE WAS A SCENE IN EPISODE 107- THE LAST ONE (THAT BRILLIANT PIECE OF A SCRIPT- BEING VERY SARCASTIC) WHEN I AM CHASING JAKE IN MY TOWEL AFTER FINN HAD CAUGHT US IN THE BATHROOM. LONG STORY LONGER- I RUN OUT DOWN THE HALL AND MY TOWEL CAME OFF. YEAH REAL FUN.

Rewatching this episode has turned me back into a hardcore Rainbower. Sean/Bella and Will/Bella have nothing on Scout/Bella. The chemistry is amazing. I was watching the scene where she recites the letter to him and both of them start crying.

I was just holding out for a kiss or even a hug. But... nothing.

Always nothing. Damn this whole incest storyline, can't they have found out they're not siblings sooner? We never got any closure for these two.

I always cry when I watch that scene. It's so touching when she finally opens up to him again and trusts him enough to tell him how she feels. Kate does such a great job during that scene. As does Mark.

I heart Scout.

This is a great episode, too, just in terms of plot structure and stuff. It's very fast-paced.

I really don't like Bella at the moment though. She tends to overreact and get all huffy. Like when she and Scout were arguing when they were supposed to be watching Ryder, and then they realise Ryder's gone; and she flies off the handle at Scout as though it was more his fault than hers. I don't know - I just really don't like her in moments like that.

I don't think it was touched upon in canon. Which makes sense because a big prize like that doesn't get decided in two weeks. If they had a second season, I expect it would have entered the picture in episode one just to kick things off. I bet you anything he won.
