Well, deciding that he wanted actresses with improvisational experience mght explain it. He basically took Melissa McCarthy and every woman he could from SNL. MM and KW can act but I don't know about the rest. Feig claimed that he wanted the new film to be genuinely scary but he's got a cast more like the original. Which wasn't very scary, just hilarious.

I know they wanted Emma Stone. But she said she didn't wanna commit to another franchise.

I feel they tried making it like the original BG. Where a few of them were from SNL. I think people are starting to tire of MM and her acting. As for KW. I think her time to be a star was after the breakout successful of Bridesmaids. But all she's done is been in a bunch of low indie projects. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm just saying with hos popular Bridesmaids was. She would be at the level of a MM.

So it has MM a person people are starting to lose interest in. KW someone who never really took off like they were suppose too. and two complete unknowns from SNL really.

That movie will have to really wow people with its trailer. Its got so much hate on it.

Some say that but Emma's comments to me could be interpreted as "I told them I wasn't interested" rather than "They offered and then I declined." Personally, I believe that Sony wanted big stars and Feig didn't.

No one has lost interest in MM yet. You're just projecting. She's as hotter than she's ever been. As for KW, she had a supporting role in The Martian. She's been doing more drama and she can act but she's doesn't have movie star potential IMO. So what, she can have Dan Ackroyd's career as a character actor and she's better than he ever was.

It's only a matter of time before the backlash comes.

Only movie where she didn't play that character was St. Vincent.
