Rosalyn Rosenfeld (American Hustle) #2 “She plays this sick character, like she just kills it!" - Bradley Cooper
Welcome to Rosalyn Rosenfeld (American Hustle) spoilers&speculation thread #2 ▮ Fans ▮ Past Threads (1)(2) ▮ Future Titles “She’s a manic-depressive alcoholic, and I couldn’t wait. Plus, I got to make out with Christian Bale.” ▮ Synopsis (Sort of) From Wikipedia: Abscam (sometimes ABSCAM) was a United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) sting operation run from the FBI's Hauppauge, Long Island, office in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The operation initially targeted trafficking in stolen property but was converted to a public corruption investigation. The investigation ultimately led to the conviction of a United States Senator, five members of the House of Representatives, one member of the New Jersey State Senate, members of the Philadelphia City Council, and an inspector for the Immigration and Naturalization Service. America Hustle is a fictionalized account of that investigation. ▮ Information Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Jeremy Renner & Amy Adams Aboard For Next David O. Well, consecutive wins are less common.
Streep won in '83 for Sophie's Choice, after being nominated (but not winning) the year before. She was nominated a further three times in the 1980's, but she wouldn't win again until 2011's The Iron Lady. Kidman won on her second consecutive nomination, in 2002, but she missed out the first year. Katherine Hepburn, who holds the record for most wins (that's four in total), won in '68 and '69 (though she shared the second one with Barbara Streisand). The '69 win was for one of my favourites, The lion in Winter. With Peter O'Toole, and a very young Anthony Hopkins. I could go on... __________________
