As to finding Jen so early... Well I'm a fan of Guillermo Arriaga, and TBP was his directorial debut. To be clear though, it's not as like I became a huge fan of Jennifer's at that point. It was a sort of, "I'm gonna' keep an eye on her" kinda thing. I didn't really become a fan until I saw Winter's Bone. That was when I decided I'd have to see everything she had done, or would ever do. ... and then I watched one of her interviews, and that was it.  __________________

I remember about halfway through that movie thinking to myself, "Hey, the girl playing Basinger's daughter is pretty good! Nice find." The it came to that pivotal scene (you guys know the one), and I thought something to the effect of, "Wait a minute! Who is this girl!? Wow!"
Again it was Winter's Bone that floored me. Brando in On The Waterfront, seriously. That good... __________________
