Leyla, I think it's better if you've seen a movie before you do group watch. That way you know what's happening and don't have to miss anything to post on the boards.

I finally watched it when I was away

and here's the review I wrote up right after watching it (so I wouldn't forget what to say

):

Another sad movie

I don't know what to really think of it and I don't have much to say on this one because it's self-explanatory. It was "interesting", really depressing as usual for Jenn's movies hahaha. Mel Gibson did a great job. So did Jenn of course. The speech was weird - not a graduation speech at all haha but whatever it fit the movie. How interesting that the actor who played her love interest in Like Crazy played her love interest here too. Weird. Kind of like how she has two movies coming out with Bradley Cooper

Does Jenn like having the same love interests? If that's the case, I don't mind her being in another movie with Josh too loool. But yeah Norah's story was pretty sad, I'm glad she got the guy out of his funk so he wouldn't turn to be like his father.

The fight scene with the Beaver and when he cut his arm off… just yuck

I guess it really showed how mentally disturbed he was though. Still an interesting storyline. Very unique.
