the sad thing is that if she films nothing in 2018, there will be no Jen films in theaters in 2019 either, other than the final XMDP chapter filmed back in 2016/17. and anything filmed in 2019, won't be seen in theaters til 2020, since it typically takes about a year to get a non-effects heavy film to get made. three months of writing, screenplay meetings, and pre-production, typically one to three months of principle photography including second unit work, three to six months post-production, editing, and sound/ADR scores and voiceovers, and generally a month or two for special screenings and/or reshoots, stuff like that. indie films and non-effects mainstream films have pretty much a year turnaround or longer, and sometimes more because movie release dates can change or be changed due to competing studios and mergers of studios. two years of no Jen on the silver screen is a nightmare of epic proportions.
