No, but it's a decent chunk, and I expect they're going to be adding plenty, particularly relating to D8.

It just feels like the best place to break, for me.

It means the emotional drive of part one is Katniss getting Peeta back physically, and the drive of part two is about getting him back mentally. There's a nice symmetry there, which could really help sell the split.

We'll see though. I am nervous about it, but I've got a lot of faith in these guys to pull it off...

I just think it'd have such a huge impact to cut it off at Peeta and Katniss's reunion. I mean, can you imagine? If it follows the book, he chokes her to the point of her passing out before getting knocked out himself. We'd have both of them laying on the ground unconscious. Fade to black. Cue credits. And then we have to wait another year for the final movie...

I can't think of a more cliffhanger-y ending than that.

Exactly. It really does seem perfect to me.

The first part so, becomes about about rescuing Peeta in some respects, and the second part becomes about rescuing his mind.

So you've got two films that work on an individual basis despite being dependent on each other, a crackin' good cliff-hangar, and symmetry across the parts.

It ticks all the boxes.

I think the split will be when Katniss decides to go to D2. Not necessarily when she gets shot there though. Her reaction to Peeta attacking, not loving her anymore and seeing her as not even human propels her to want to get away. I think her response plays into what Snow says in the trailer...It's the things we love most that destroy us. That really sets her on her final path of being the Mockingjay.

Waiting an entire year for the sequel is going to suck. For Harry Potter, it was only six months and that seemed like forever!

I can't help but wonder if some of you guys are pushing for the break to come when Katniss gets shot, because you can't stand the thought of being left hanging on Peeta strangling her.

But it is that discomfort with the scene, the sucker punch of it, that makes such a great cliffhanger.

I don't know what they've chose to do, and there are certainly other ways to go, but I'm crossing my fingers for this one.

I think Katniss getting shot, falling to the ground, unconscious, will make more impact to the regular audience. like OMG the mocking jay is dead now what.
