The few times that I've gone with my instincts and watched a film with like a 10% rating on RottenTomatoes, I've had to admit that the film was completely wretched and unwatchable. I like reading a good critic's review because if the review is well-written, I can tell if their complaints or praise matter to me. Adjust to their biases.
