I beginning to think I might have been premature in suggesting Jennifer was out of the Oscar race. Not saying she will be nominated, and she certainly won't be a real contender (not that that matters to me), but that nomination might not be out of the question.

If Joy manages some decent box office, then she might be set. Frankly though, the BO is more important, and if it does well now then all questions about her draw will be settled. Conversely, if it doesn't it can be blamed on the movie and not her, so she'll get a pass. But the pressure will on for Passengers. I could have done without that, but that's the way things go in the big leagues...

I'm about to watch but I know one thing for certain beforehand. DOR is going to be asked some simple question and end up talking about a dozen other things with great enthusiasm which have no relation to the original question. Jen can be that way, too. I'd love to listen in on their private conversations. They're probably all over the map and back a hundred times.

A segment on Jennifer and Joy is going to be on ABC's Nightline shortly.

ETA: it was a longer version of what played on GMA. There were new clips from the movie too. At least to me they were new.
