while i didn't necessarily agree with everything President Obama did in his two terms, i found him to be a pleasant, articulate, humorous, and charismatic presence as a leader of the US and Western World, i shall miss him. the one thing i still hold against him from his original campaign promises, is his failure to close that inhuman terrorist breeding camp called Guantanamo Bay. i hate that place, how are we better than the scumbag terrorists we hunt down, if we torture and imprison without representation?! i don't like trump and fear for the future of my country of birth...

well, i hauled my bluray player out of a box of stuff, ran an hdmi cable across a pile of clothes, boxes, and misc stuff all over the new place, and watched my first movie in the new house.....Joy, starring the mesmerizing Jennifer Lawrence. damn, i forgot how great she looked in the role of Joy, and her intense and great acting. wow!
