the only musicals i have ever liked, both feature my dearest favorite actress of old hollywood, the incomparable Audrey Hepburn, in 1957 Funny Face and 1964 My Fair Lady. i love those two films because of her and the 50s/60s era, but i cannot do musicals in the modern era, it's just not me. i do however, have an urge to see Mary Poppins again, with Julie Andrews, because of the upcoming MP sequel with the talented and beautiful Emily Blunt, who is also one of my Fabulous Eight Ladies!
