it was actually a nice double-surprise, getting both the bad guy (svr baddie) and saving the cynical but still motivated good guy (double agent). great film! it still amazes me that a film with no gun battles, no car chases, no gadgets, no james/jane bond tomfoolery, and 2+ hours of slow burn plot, was such an entertaining and satisfying old-school spy thriller. can we please get a sequel at some point?!

yeah i agree, i thought she only smoked the medical miracle rollups
but dammit woman, nicotine too?! geez that crap is no good for anyone. yuck. i had a gf a few years back (no. 3 of 5, cuz i'm unhappily single now :/) who smoked and it drove me crazy because she was pretty, my age, really liked the stuff i did, put up with my crap and odd job travel tendencies, but the longer we hung out, the more she  ing smoked!!!! grrrrr. by the time we broke up after a road trip job from hell, my whole house smelled like cigarettes from her living there for 4 months on her own, me out of town on job travel, and no one there to deodorize and constantly clean and put air fresheners and stuff. it was insane! smokers are domestic terrorists! women get the by far worse deal of bad body effects from nicotine, than men do, because they have much more plumbing and critical body parts. oh, that nasty smell of cigarettes comes out everywhere, yuck. dammit, stop smoking! cigarettes are your worst enemy!  __________________
