Joy Mangano on jennifer.
“Within a short period of time, I felt like Jennifer was my daughter – I could finish sentences she started. “It was a very beautiful thing.” Bradley cooper "Bob and I worked together on 'Limitless' so we had become friends and I met Jen on 'Silver Linings Playbook'. "It feels very much like a family when you make movies with the same people." "She's an incredible actor who is very gifted and perfect for just about any role. "That's a rarity - and she's just so young." |

And that's great to hear about the real Joy and everyone else getting along. Remember when Jen posted this video? __________________

Jodie Foster talks about Jen. It starts at about 34:15.

Cool, I love Jodie Foster. I didn't know that she had rewritten Jen's part in The Beaver for her. And the part about Jen getting the part not just from W'sB but from a unsolicitied tape once again demonstrates how proactive and aggressive Jen is about her career. I admire that.

Very interesting, and yet another example of a professional filmmaker really recognizing something remarkable in Lawrence, well before it was commonly understood. Money Monster looks good by the way. __________________

And back to that interview (which I haven't yet watched in toto), I didn't know that Home for the Holidays was directed by Jodie. I love that film! |

I'm afraid AW aren't that reliable a gauge in my book. Too much skewed personal taste and confirmation bias at play over there.

Jodie's very hit and miss as a filmmaker though, so I won't be surprised if the movie doesn't work. But by the same token, I won't be any more surprised if it does... __________________
