I like her working with DOR too.

So they need to cool. As you said. She will work with others too as well.

Too precious here. Just look at those baby blue eyes.

Months before THG came out:

American Horror Story’s Evan Peters on Lube, That ‘Fox’ Jennifer Lawrence, and Fangirls

You tested for the role of Peeta in Hunger Games, right?
I did, yeah. That was really cool; I got to do a scene with Jennifer Lawrence. I was nervous as hell, because she’s such a fantastic actress. And the movie is such a great story — I love all those books. I can’t wait to see the movie. I’m so psyched.

Have you seen the trailer?
Yeah, it looks amazing. And I love Jennifer Lawrence. She’s a total fox. And such a good actress. It’s ridiculous.
Now:

Jessica Chastain: movie studios over-sexualise kickass women

Now she's taking issue with what she views as the over-sexualisation of female action heroes. "If you look at films like Elektra and Aeonflux, the problem that studios have is that they try to make kickass women very sexualised. They have to be in some catsuit," she tells this week's edition of Radio Times.

"But if you look at the most incredible female roles, like Ripley in Alien, she is a very sexy woman but she's not wearing a lot of make-up. She's in a T-shirt and jeans. What's sexy about her is how capable she is. Same with Jennifer Lawrence in Hunger Games – she's not wearing a catsuit, either."
It started long before Jen was involved but Singer could have always put Mystique in some clothes like she wears in the comic books instead of being nude. Jen would probably have welcomed a catsuit. Luckily it sounds like she stays clothed a lot more this time.

Maybe Mystique being nude goes back to her rejecting that, and not wanting to be part of the human system.

"I can't wear those pants! Those are slave-pants."

Or maybe Fox wanted more teenage boys to buy tickets to see a hot woman in body-paint.

I know it might sound silly. But fits into the thing Mystique in the original trilogy would say.

It also might have to be for effects reasons when it comes to the shape shifting. Also why she has the same hair style when as Mystique.

Emma Roberts also auditioned for the role of Katniss. So it could have been those two.

I agree. Jeremy Irvine should have accepted the role when they offered it to him.

That reaction is pretty fitting there.

Part of the reason for Mystique being nude though, was that the VFX weren't at a standard where the clothing sims for the morphing were good enough to convince (her hair is as short as it is, and slicked back, for the same reason). Plus Singer had his own logistical issues. He was asking the question, that he assumed everyone would be asking: How does she change her clothes as she changes her face?

This remember, was at a time when the superhero movie was not only not in vogue, but something of a joke. He was neurotic about any aspect that might come in for derision.

Having her nude solved both issues. It wasn't until Jane Goldman wrote First Class though, that they actually gave the character a reason for being unclad.

Not that you're wrong, the fact that that was their solution does have something to say, but they didn't start from a position of trying to conceive a reason to have her be naked.

I very much agree with Chastain by the way, and like how she made her point. It does seem to be shifting though, if slowly...
