Disney has stated that they will continue to have an affiliated studio that produces R-rated films, such as Deadpool and maybe one day, a Red Sparrow sequel. Miramax was disney-owned, and produced the Kill Bill films.*crosses fingers*

i'm kinda in the middle on the deal, but whatever happens won't take effect until sometime next year, as Disney has to sell a bunch of the radio and tv stations, meet regulatory requirements, and restructure Fox debts before it can complete the merger. all existing new films and in-production films will still be marketed and brought to theaters by Fox, including XDP. that's what matters now.
