i think they may consider a sequel down the line, but i don't think it is a likely possibility in the eyes of the studio money power backers, until Jen is a big revenue source again, in mainstream features. sadly, Joy, Passengers, mother!, and Red Sparrow, haven't exactly been booming blockbusters to the powers that be, though i'm a big fan of all four films! unfortunately, movies are all about boxoffice gross receipts and not art or artistic intent. that's why a lot of actors self-produce or maintain production houses of sorts, for something beyond the almighty dollar bottom line.

at this point in time, Jen needs a mainstream hit or indie critical hit, to maintain relevancy to the power players of hollywood. it's just how it is.

Sadly this is what I expected after the last few films.

people only care about big franchises.

that she certainly does. but I guess she takes chances and gets taken for it.
