So seems Atomic Blonde might be getting a sequel. Seeing as it made $95 million worldwide. While RS made nearly $140 million worldwide. But no talks of one. But people go it might have made more, but it also cost more too. I guess people need over the top action to be entertained. and I liked Atomic Blonde. But that's all people were ever going to compare RS to. They don't want a adult slow burn drama thriller. They want high octane action scenes and the occasional lesbian scene.




But I guess I shouldn't complain or compare the two. RS made more than almost any expected it too.

I liked it though. But all it is mostly is action after action.

Have you seen The Villainess? I'd recommend it and would watch it over Atomic Blonde any day. and Charlize would say that, she produced it (right?).

i like Atomic Blonde tbh, but it's in a different genre than RS, at least for me. i categorize it more as a badass Jane Bond without the gadgets type of action movie, and i like it as such. love the twisty ending! i have it on blu-ray!

i love RS and would happily go see it again if it were still playing in my area, but alas it is only playing in 244 theaters in the USA. it will finish in the $46mil range domestically, but is still playing in many countries and currently around $92mil not including the mysterious non-counted France, and still rumored to be opening in Russia and China at some point.
