I like this (even accepting its photoshoppy-ness). It's a little more sci-fi, with the shaft of light and the spaceship, while still keeping the focus on Lawrence and Pratt. I'd love to see something without their faces on it if I'm honest though, something more evocative and abstract.

It wouldn't be the best idea in terms of marketing (obviously they want to lean on the Lawrence/Pratt of it all at every turn), but I'd certainly appreciate it. Maybe some talented fan will come up with something cool.

Particularly with this being so historic a game. Market price apparently exceeds $500,000.

It's a smart move though. I hadn't expected them to really kick-off promotion as early in November as this, but it seems they very much intend to promote throughout the month. As we've discussed though, it makes sense to use this period when Rogue One is not in the spotlight, to wave their arms around and make sure they're seen.

That way, in December, when people are drowning in Star Wars, Sony will be in a position to remind them about another space movie that's maybe a little bit of a tonic, maybe a little different, and perhaps a must-see alternative to that galaxy far, far away.

So, well done to Sony. Keep it up...

Well, to the extent that it was altered by me and it was altered in response to the inevitable needs of film production. There are things we shot that didn't make it into the movie, which is always true. There are things we thought of on the fly that we added to the movie that made it better. It has certainly evolved, for the most part for the better, but it is very true to its original bones. I think its heart is right where it began.
