This is probably old news but did you know Phyllis Logan's husband Kevin McNally was on Downton? He played the father of the officer who got Ethel pregnant. His character was a jerk to Ethel but you could see that he was fond of his grandson and had loved his son. I wonder if we'll ever hear how Ethel and her son are doing. That storyline had a happy ending in that Ethel was going to work for or near her son's grandparents so she could be near him even though they were going to raise him. I'm not remembering if she was going to work for them or just near them. Again, I think I need to rewatch all of Downton!

I think that may have been mentioned here before but I have forgotten.
 Thanks for mentioning that again. Since Ethel isn't on the show anymore, I doubt we'll hear from that SL again. My memory is hazy too but I think she'll be working near them so at least she gets to see her son. I haven't seen this photo of Phyllis yet. Photo is by Luke Fontana.  __________________

^ I heard there's going to be a Mr. Carson and Mrs. Hughes AU spinoff. The photoshoot must be for that! Yep pretty sure. Of course my source for this information is the same person who told me JF will never ever kill off a Downton Abbey main character....

Not much with Mrs. Hughes but I really gotta admire how she always embraces change and was rallying Daisy and wants her to give Daisy the chance to learn and improve herself. Thank you Mrs. Hughes. She's always amazing anyway.
