I got this weird thought in my head. If Elsie was never married then is she still a virgin? It would be so weird now to think that a woman of her age has never had sex with anyone, but wasn't it still quite rare and frowned upon to have sex before marriage back then? At least I can't see her as a "bad girl" either getting it on with someone without being married.

So yeah. These are the thoughts in my mind right now. :D

I guess she still is. But that's a past we'll never know. It definitely is quite rare and a complete shock back then to have sex before marriage and Mrs. Hughes seems to be a woman who isn't capable of doing that but then again, I can't tell for sure.
