I haven't seen Sense & Sensibility, can you believe? Now I wanna go see it because I just found out Dan's there!

I do know that he used to be on this TV movie with Michelle before called The Turn of the Screw and I've been trying to look for links to it but still unsuccessful so far.

He's such a romantic, emotional and charming character. I did like him the first time he was introduced. He's such a gentleman and I wonder why he's been a bachelor all this time, that is until he met Mary.

I really liked that miniseries. My biggest Huh? -

- moment though was flicking through TV the other day and hearing his voice...but talking German. I was like WTF, I know this voice...it still was weird seeing Dan talking perfect German in a German movie

Dan is amazing and I love Matthew from the first time we saw him. He is charming, romantic, gorgeous and so sweet so I was surprised that he was still a bachelor he is such a catch

But now he has Mary

That's in regards to Series 4. The original cast (except the ones who have left in Series 1 and 2) were always contracted to first three series. The recent chatter about contract renewals is for post S3.

His Edward in S&S is great, especially the chopping the wood scene (which DS notes he was sick whilst doing it).

And Turn of the Screw - Dan and Michelle weren't supposed to have that good a chemistry in that production.

I swear, I love emo!Matthew in s2. He goes on a relationship with Lavinia because he was so heart-broken. Poor bb.

Matthew in S2 did go to some dark places, he was heartbroken over Mary but then met Lavinia. The the injury at war left him feeling useless and depressed. Dan played those scenes so well
