Thanks Lindsay, love, love those opening gifs, can we have more of fun Mary please JF, love it when she let's go like that, which isn't very often, I hope Charles will stick around for some more funny moments with her.

I'm absolutely keeping my hopes down, because we have no confirmation of JO in any episode past 507. This could very well be the last time we see Charles, if things don't go well for him and Mary after the kiss.

I'm thankful for what we've gotten so far, and I'm just going to wait and see on the rest.

I really, really want them to end up together, especially after Mary + Tony's night in Liverpool. She seems to be so much happier with Charles now, and that's what I want her to be: happy.

Actually no. I don't want to know anything although for the life of me, I can't begin to understand why people think this is his last episode. Where can Fellowes possibly be taking that storyline?

But epi.7 should answer this or even make things as unclear as ever. Who knows?

Absolutely. I haven't seen her smile so much and laugh so much since Matthew -- not with Tony, not with Evelyn, not with Tom, not with any of her family members. She and Charles have fun together and appear to make each other happy, and that's so important and so much fun to watch.

Yes I miss Mary's laugh especially when she was having those really great moments with Charles last season. The pig poo scene & cooking eggs for him =

. And we haven't seen her that happy since her time with Matthew.

That preview can be misleading for all we know but yes, let's just anticipate that a heartache will come with that kiss. It's safer that way.

ETA: I'll fix the OP this weekend. It looks dull.

I know some people are hoping it's his last episode, needless to say I'm not one of them.

I'll be very upset if it is.

It won't make sense if it is. If anything Fellowes won't leave him and Mary's story unfinished when it barely began.

I know, as you say they've barely got going in this series, and had very few scenes together either, if JF is going to end it in just one episode, that'll be disappointing to say the least.
But then this whole series hasn't exactly been the best, seems like he's running out of ideas.

One of the reviews for that episode said that Mary had never looked so luminous before and that Charles was instantly smitten.
