Downton Abbey celebrates 2 years on Fanforum!
Happy 2 Years Anniversary D o w n t o n A b b e y         x     x Campaign started last 26 September 2011 Board opened on 01 April 2012 Sheida, Mel & Jazz announced as temporary mods Lindsay & Scarlet appointed as mods 10K on 02 August 2012 1st Year Anniversary on 01 April 2013 25K on 31 July 2013 2nd Year Anniversary on 01 April 2014 As the only mod here now, I feel very lucky and blessed to have this board thriving after 2 years with it's small and loyal posters. I get a bit emotional when we celebrate milestones here because while this board isn't off the charts with it's posts, we are still here. We got the board before the show's third season and on September the show will be on it's fifth season (and rumours are circulating, its last). Everyone here had no idea on what was in-store for us that first year on FF which was one of Downton's emotional rollercoaster season. While we may have lost posters along the way, we still have new ones and those who are still here since the early days of the board. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank each one of you for making this possible and hopefully we will all be together until the very end. __________________

I saw the post from FF about this on tumblr and had to come over here. Very cool milestone. I haven't been on this board much since s4 ended but it's lovely to see how everyone else keeps it going. I hope it will stay active. Count me as one of the fans happily awaiting s5 no matter what it may bring -- and I'll be back here as a regular when it airs. Great job on being our mod Lindsay!! Thank you for the time you put in for that.  |

Congratulations everyone!
I've only been "on board" for the last three months or so. I wish I would have found you earlier as I've really enjoyed being part of the discussion. I love reading everyone's take on the happenings at the beloved Downton Abbey. It's all been a lot of fun.  Special thanks to Lindsay! Your efforts are very much appreciated! I'm looking forward to all of the fun that is ahead of us when season five airs.  |

Congratulations all! I just joined a few months ago, but I'll be here when S5 rolls out. Can't wait to read some spoilers!
The other DA fansite I frequented, closed up shop at the end of S4.  I'm glad to know this one will be here when S5 starts.TeamBlake! |
