I have to say it never even crossed my mind that William and Daisy consummated their marriage. I don't recall any indication on the show that they had. William was on death's door and could hardly breath. I don't think it was physically possible for him. Daisy reluctantly married him so I doubt she was anxious to consummate. Like I said, it never even crossed my mind. The act of marrying William under those circumstances showed real maturity on Daisy's part. She also lost a sweet man she cared about. I suspect it was these life experiences that made her grow up and mature.

Exactly Lauren. Yes they are a married couple (but only for a while) and they weren't those type of people. Both William & Daisy were decent people. If William had lived and if they probably got a home of their own, then I can see the possibility of them consummating their marriage. I don't believe in any way they had done it prior to William's death.

Me too! We always see Sophie wearing that kitchen uniform every single time so it's great to see her in dresses like this for a photoshoot.

I remember Sophie saying that often people don't recognize her in the street and that usually actors look better on screen than in RL but not in her case !

^ That is lovely! I'm not recalling when we saw Daisy in that outfit. It should stand out to me since we only usually see her in her kitchen garb. My memory is slipping I guess. More and more I'm thinking I should rewatch Downton from season one.
