I agree, Edith likes the idea of it. It would also probably stem from the fact that her sisters has had successful relationships with men. And I've said this on the Edith thread - if she can get past Gregson's baggage, then it's all good. We know she can fight for what she wants and I don't question Gregson's intentions/love for her. The elephant in the room just needs to be addressed.

I don't think Edith should envy her sisters anymore, one of them died giving birth and the other lost the love of her life after giving birth so i hope to see Edith count her blessings in S4
 .I don't see how we can get past the fact that Greg is married and have them in a relationship. The scandal will affect the family as well and i don't see Mary taking it lightly and not fighting with Edith on it. So far Mary doesn't know that Greg is a married man but if she finds out and she sees Edith's actions as threatening her future and her son's future as well she will get nasty with her sister for sure. She will go mama bear on her ass .  __________________
Rupert hardly speaks. You're lucky to get anything out of him these days, he just has a wicked sense of humor and he's very eccentric and very unique in the way that he does things. Mary doesn't know Gregson is married and when she does find out, I'm sure the rest of the family will find out soon. The only one who knows his secret is Matthew but his secret died with him too.
And first it was the issue of Strallan being too old for Edith and now Gregson is married. If his wife dies, then all is well I think. So it'll really depend on how this storyline will play out in S4. I'm not closing my door on Gregson but it will be difficult for him and for Edith. I also need another proper storyline for these two, hopefully involving Mary, to further discuss. In the CS, Mary wanted to "investigate" Gregson and maybe she'll get around to it in S4. __________________
