I hope we find out soon how much Ted really knows. I can't believe that he knew there were twins. I think he would have adopted both if he knew. Or maybe he didn't know at first, and found out when Alec found Annie Hobbs, but thinks Emma died in the fire? I can't tell what he really knows, He is hiding something, but how much? It turned out Kristens only knowledge and lie to Sutton was that her birth mother wasn't dead after all. She still though ti was Ruth Peterson. Maybe Ted doesn't know as much as it seems he must.

I think he knows that Sutton is his daughter, but he doesn't know there were twins. But I have a feeling Ted will find out about the twins pretty soon.

Ted just seems like such a nice man, and a loving father and husband. I can't believe that he is the core of all this trouble! I really need an explanation. I hope something comes out tonight during the reminiscences, that will put him in a better light than the lying, cheating, heartless, guy he's looking as right now.

I hope Ted doesn't just run away or something. He is definitely losing control. I don't think he's the murderer, but he may be the one putting the flowers on the grave. Remember how badly he felt about Justin's mother? And Eduardo with the accident, then suddenly going into the coma? He was being blackmailed by Derek probably, but maybe for some other reason? Was he providing drugs to Derek to get extra money to pay off someone, and Derek was blackmailing him for that? Rebecca might have found out, or Alec, and done something about it? Or it still could have been that frat president in a rage? So Derek's murder could be totally unrelated, except in how it got tangled in the protection of the twin secret and whatever plot is going on there. There could be so many twists here.

In the promo it looked like when Emma was introducing her self, Ted didn't look shock. I wonder if he did know about the twins just that he didn't know they were seperated maybe?

I see what you mean. Really I think he is just in shock at how his life is falling apart and all the horrible things that are happening so he can't even look surprised at the sudden appearance of a daughter he never knew about.

Maybe he thought one of the twins (Emma) died, so he knew there were twins, but he thought only one of them (Sutton) was alive.
