This is what I'm thinking! I think Thayer is starting to bring out this different side to her.

Is he becoming bitter towards her and if so, why? She used to look up to and admire her brother. Does she not feel that way anymore?

Thayer has been acting strange ever since he came back from LA. First keeping the secrets from her, and then he has become so angry and antagonistic towards Alec. Mads has always wanted a happy family, and THayer and ALec's differences have always upset her. Thayer does seem to have a chip on his shoulder. I remember when he was pro Alec, with the investment in his gaming company. He discouraged Emma from her suspicions at first, but then jumped in whole hog with the discovery of the photo from Rebecca. I think all this has really confused Mads, and left her all alone at the moment.

Exactly!

Poor girl hasn't been getting any attention from her brother or best friend and the one guy who starts giving her attention, she's avoiding like the plague. Only 2 episodes in and this girl has been through a lot.

Mads is still breaking my heart.

She really can't catch a break. She was trying to be a good friend to Laurel and tell her to go for it with Jordan, but then she gave into the temptation and couldn't fight her feelings for him anymore.

We thought her moving into the Mercer's would be better for her, but I think it's only gotten worse!

I don't really understand why Mads was so determined to avoid Jordan, I think it was embarrassment? Anyway, too late for that now! But I don't know what she will do. Maybe she can go back home with her dad? But I'm assuming Rebecca will be moving into Alec's home now? with Jordan? Oh how awkward this is all getting !

No one knows about Emma, but people would miss Mads if she disapeared! It would be the happiest solution though.

Well, Mads could just go there in the evenings to hang-out, but she'll still go to school, etc. I just really hope things start getting better for her, and not worse.

Well, maybe she has patched it up with her dad, and moves home. But where will he be? His place or Rebecca's and where will Rebecca be? Too complicated. Poor Mads is alone now without Thayer or Emma. (if Laurel is upset)
