If it's everyone on Alcatraz that just up and vanished one would think the Warden would have been on-site when it happened.

I have to agree, his death could have been falsified. As much as I trust in Doc's expertise, he doesn't know everything of Alcatraz.
He didn't know about Lucy, seemingly the only female "shrink" doc on the Rock, where she worked at least for 3-4 years.
It seems that some forces, managed to "delete" her presence on the Rock, why her and not the other staff on Alcatraz?
And I believe this was done, before she returned as a 63s.

Speaking of the Warden, in the Ames brothers ep Hauser asks Beauregard: "And Warden James is he come back? Is he the one willing to kill for these keys?" Means; The two keys, which open the secret door on Alcatraz.

My guess is, that Warden is still alive, it's just a feeling, but it would bring the story to another level.

Yeah, we can be certain that they were/are sweethearts. The age difference might be an obstacle, but I guess this isn't going to change anything between them, not really.

But Rami Malek did an excellent performance as Webb Porter.

That´s what I also thought

Loved his interactions with Lucy and that she tried to help him and that last scene when the other inmates applauded him. And that he helped Lucy in the end.

But how he killed those women

He's actually quite sweet for helping her come out of that coma.

That violin-playing scene gives me goosebumps.
