It was awesome seeing Jack Sylvane again. Another really solid episode, this show really does keep getting better and better. Is it wrong that I felt more for that mousy than all those dudes?? haha

I hope we see more of Sylvane, and the other inmates. I kinda want them to get a happy ending.. I can't really see them all staying in prison all over again, not indefinitely anyway.

The Agents

Rebecca: As always she continues to impress me especially when her backstory comes into play. I loved her interraction with Jack. He's managed to ask her questions and give her some insight. Now she'll be even more determined to find those answers and I can't wait.

Seeing her go all badass warrior chick on McKee in the subway tunnel- well it was purely that, badass!

Doc: Seriously can this guy get anymore loveable. Him playing a game using the huge server at the secret hideout was funny. He's taking advantage of all the tech. Seeing him all nervous around the morgue doc was cute. I was so expecting him to comment on her latest shirt and it looked like he was going to but he didn't.

Hauser: Oh the mysterious Hauser. He brings Jack to Rebecca but he stops him from exploiting the secrets that Rebecca isn't clued in on. Wow so even the Alcatraz doc. knew that Hauser and the pyschologist were in love. Guess that was no secret. And how sweet was it to see him reading to her. I hope that wakes her up. I want her back in the real world despite how shady she is.

The Inmates

Jack Sylvanne- So glad we got to see him again. So far I think he's been my favorite inmate so far because out of all of them he seems to be the one that has the closest thing to a soul.

Loved his interraction with Madsen. He even asked questions that Rebecca didn't know the answer to but Hauser did and now he's planted seeds in her mind.

Johnny McKee: It's hard to choose a favorite 63 but he certainly ranks among the top. What he did was terrifying! Oh man and his backstory was just heartbreaking. You don't want to feel for these guys but then you hear their stories and it gives you insight as to why they became the way they did.

Final Thoughts. Loved the episode. Once again this show has proven to show how good it truly is. Every week it's a different story but one that connects to the past quite well.

Next week. OMG I totally fangirled when I saw Mahershalalhashbaz Ali in the preview! It totally brought me back to those good ol' 4400 days. Damn how I miss that show.

Look forward to his episode an innocent man in Alcatraz who now has become a cold blooded killer. Should be an interesting story.

The episode was great last night.

I really did enjoy what little we got with Jack, especially his interactions with Rebecca. I loved how he told her about her grandfather having to give a lot of blood, and how he told her she had his eyes.

Johnny McKee was definitely interesting. I say he has to be the most intriguing to me after Jack.

I just watched it. It is amazing, the storylines are great and it keeps getting better. I love Doc and Rebecca, they are so adorable together.

I really liked the interaction between Jack and Becca.
Even though Tommy wasn't in the episode he's still the one everyone talks about.

Can I start a Tommy Madsen thread, or someone else start it?
He's been in at least 4 episodes.

I think there should be a Tommy thread as he has connections with many people and I have a feeling will become more important as we heard toward the end of the season

ETA: I loved seeing Jack again in this episode.
Poor guy.. he seems so lonely. Sarah seems to think he is in another prison, but I thought Hauser was keeping the prisoners in Alcatraz?

Such a powerful scene.

McKee is so creepy. His face scares the living daylights out of me. I did love the backstory and seeing Jack again was a really nice surprise. Rebecca sure will be intrigued about Jack's mentioning of Dr Beauregard.

Overall, quite an explosive episode. Can't wait for the next one!

Thanks for the gifs. Out of all the inmates Jack to me seems to be the less threatening. I loved his interraction with Rebecca. He seemed genuinely sincere when he told her she had the same eyes as her grandfather.

Question: I forgot, do we know why Tommy Madsen was an inmate at Alcatraz? We don't know his crime right?

You're welcome. Yeah, he seems to be less scary than the other guys. He was, and that's what makes me think there's more to his story.

Nope, it hasn't been revealed yet. We'll know soon I hope.
