Yep, I'm stepping down. Can't believe I'm doing this for the second time on this board. But life. It was a freaking hard decision, believe me, but I just don't see a better option at the moment.

I have a question. Why do some boards have 3 mods, while
others usually have 2? Isn't 2 enough?

Various reasons. Most of the time it depends on traffic of the board, if it has high traffic we usually appoint three mods. Another reason might be that if one of the moderators is a Moderator Manager then they can decide to put an extra moderator on their board because their job as an MM has to take priority and it doesn't always leave a lot of time for the boards . A board usually has 2 mods but one or both are away and an MST is assigned and it looks like the board has three mods.
