The possible future love affair between a v a m p i r e and his w i t c h.
This is a story that would be written in the stars and it's all about 'what if's' and sizzling thoughts of p o s s i b i l i t i e s. Damon and Bonnie in the books are so special, Bonnie loves Damon in the books but she doesn't want to tell him because of [no surprise] Elena. Before Damon became obsessed with getting what his brother has [Elena] he met Bonnie and he saved and kissed her before the whole S/E/D triangle. Damon loves p r o t e c t i n g Bonnie, he doesn't ever want her to get killed, he'd risk his own life before he let anything happens to 'his little red-bird'. Also everyone remember the infamous bathtub scene. The love between them is kind of outspoken but anyone with an eye-sight knows it's there.

In the show it's a whole different relationship. It's a love/hate relationship. Bonnie is the first woman on the show to not fall for Damon charms and call him out in his crap. Their story all started with a necklace and continued from their. Damon tried to snapped Bonnie's neck 'thinking Bonnie was Emily' but it only possessed Bonnie to learn about vampires and hate Damon. Damon tried to get Bonnie's forgiveness in his own snarky way but Bonnie wasn't having it and she didn't stand for it. Bonnie came to the point of hatred towards Damon that she told Stefan if Damon even spills one drop of human b l o o d she'll take him down, which proved her correctly in 2x02 where she literally set him on fire to the point where he was screaming in agony.

I surely will... by some comments, there is surely a lot of Bamon in it... I haven't gotten the book yet because you need a kindle for it.

I don't get why a certain fanbase is upset, if TVD never came out there would be no issue.

During the books SE/Bamon were the two most popular.

THE Books and show are clearly different.

Which is why I even had an issue with LJ Smith at one point for only continuing the books when the show came out.

She should've finished it a long time ago.

I agree it is childish... yeah I think DB fans should feel beyond the worst.

I mean if you love the books and came to the show, you are just frustrated... basically with that guy on Youtube was explaining. D/B really never even got a chance... I hope Season 6 changes things but I'm still not hopeful.

I think people are trying to act like the storylines from the show and books are the same... just stop it. Damon falling in love with Bonnie in the books is nothing new. lol
I think [from some comments I read] it's suppose to be about the triangle, and Elena and Damon falling in love.

Um... okay.... also Damon has a jealousy problem to the guy Bonnie is dating. lol

Yeah facts are facts DB had a big role in the books and for the show to not show more interest in it, is a shame on their part and just speaks of the favoritism the show plays. Theres no way around it.

When I watched the show I always liked SE it was never about picking sides and to see where they are now is just sad... but I've also said I wanted Matt/Elena to be endgame especially if Elena was still human. I still do but it's not as strong as now since she's a vamp but Matt still has a soft spot for Elena

You are definitely right.

It's like the writers for the TVD show just skimmed over the important Bamon moment just to service anything besides Bamon... Tyler/Caroline of course dated for like most of the books and even they got a huge storyline on the show.
Yeah the favoritism is horrible, it's just about which fans is the loudest on twitter.

I always liked S/E as well... especially during the first two seasons, although I did like Stefan/Katherine better. I did like Stefan with Elena and I really believed in their love, I loved how Stefan respected Elena choices and how Elena was really dedicated in her love for Stefan... when you see them now, it feels like a lifetime ago that way....
Elena character in general is almost un-watchable, just a completely different person.
I wouldn't mind Matt/Elena as endgame at all. Although it probably won't happen, especially if Elena stays vamp and all of that.
