STEFAN LEARNS THE REASON DAMON RETURNED TO MYSTIC FALLS — Jeremy gets a break from the mysterious new history teacher, Alaric, and introduces Alaric to Jenna. Bonnie is having terrifying dreams about one of her ancestors. Despite Elena's attempt to smooth things over, Bonnie and Caroline continue to argue over the medallion. When the girls hold a seance to help them decide what to do, the results are stranger than any of them expected. Matt comes to Caroline's aid when she needs a friend. Damon finally reveals to Stefan the stunning reason he has returned to Mystic Falls.

I still remember the trailer for this episode

and the CW preview clip. lol
In the preview, Caroline was like "Why don't we have a seance." and there's a clip with Emily scaring Bonnie, telling her to help her... oddly that scene isn't in the episode at all.

The CW Preview clip was the Bamon scenes.

What a episode, the first Bonnie centric one... well Emily as well, how ever you want to say it.

I just really loved the trailer, so I watched it a little more than ordinary.

Like I remember the Bamon forum at the time, just from the preview clip and promo alone over probably 20 threads got killed. lol That's when the Bamonators ruled the TVD board. lol.... those were the good days.

I remember everything about the episode clearly... it was also the beginning of me disliking Damon... although I still liked him....
That was also the start of me warming up to the Bonnie/Caroline friendship. I didn't warm up to really like Caroline until 1x12 though.

Omg,I remember the amount of times I heard that in the promo made me want to slit my throat.
