I actually don't know if I can agree with that, Paul Wesley has always been pro Stefan/Caroline if I'm not mistaking.

It feels like after Season 2, Paul has really cared about S/E... I even remember him telling Nina he loves her just not Stefan doing good. lol When he wanted the ripper storyline for Stefan can be a bit evil.

With Damon/Bonnie... seems like Kat/Ian always liked that...

I'd say though, I wish Kat/Paul could've been seated near one another. lol
I do think they didn't want to chat much about DE.

Although watching the season now, I don't see why NOT.
