I said the same thing the other day. The way MTV has been promoting her even though they don't really play music anymore has been good, 10 on top, hip hop squares and MTV hits. But TRL was on a whole other level if that was still around with the way MTV is backing her PYGOM would be huge right now she would be a pop princess.

Why did they stop airing TRL? I know it was pretty popular where I live too and then two years ago MTV became a Pay-TV and now I don´t watch it anymore.

Social media.

With Facebook and now Twitter around stars just use that to promote their product, so I guess people stopped watching and showing up. MTV decided to just kill it, instead of the show dying a slow death.
