Is it bad that I ship this friendship over Bonnie's friendship with Elena? I love these girls so much and Bonnie being upset and crying in 2x01 was so cute when it was her with Matt and Caroline.

I still like Bonnie and Elena to some extent but I agree with Ian when he said towards the end of season 1 that Elena hasn't been that great of a friend to Bonnie and LOVED that Ian even paid attention to that aspect of their friendship as well. Elena still has to make up for stuff imo when it comes to Bonnie. The scenes from The Last Dance helped a bit but season one Bonnie/Elena is still the best part of their friendship I've seen and I hope it can someday get back to that level for me.

UNTIL THEN, BONNIE AND CAROLINE RULE IN THE GIRL POWER DEPT!!!!!!!!

Nah it's not bad you like these two more B/E. Both friendships have had their ups and downs but Bonne/Caroline does seem more balance out. I myself lean a little towards Bonne/Elena friendship more, but I like Bonnie/Caroline just as much.

Not at all! I prefer Bonnie and Caroline's friendship over Bonnie and Elena's too. But like Maurice said, both friendships have had their ups and downs. I think we've had more opportunity (as of late) to see Bonnie and Caroline's friendship blossom as they've both worked through struggles together. I would have liked to see Bonnie and Caroline's reunion in more detail on-screen after Plan B but that's a rant for another day

I love that scene in general. Later on when Caroline comes clean about never feeling good enough compared to Elena is really important. Bonnie always seems to be the one that both Caroline and Elena want to confide in.

I really started loving the friendship in episode 1x12, during that whole dance and how they both agreed to wanting to kill Damon.
