In answer to the question, I think Bonnie will have a happy-ish ending but she will still die in the season finale or the episode before the season finale so Elena can wake up in 8.16

I also see her dying for Elena to wake up - and I hate it.

And I had the fear that they would let her die sooner and then Elena or her coffin is gone and that would be the last storyline of the season :(

Yeah, I'm afraid she will die around 8.15. :(
Edit: Totally forgot that there will be only 16 episodes. So I fear she could die as early as 8.12, depending on how mich they want to do with ELena/ND's availability- I hope that I'm wrong. |
I fear that they will still kill her sooner like episode 12 and then we just don't see Elenas body because somebody kidnapped it ... and then the last storyline of the series will be saving her out of the fangs of the last villain.
