I don't think he is hanging out with her. The synopsis says Liv tells Jeremy about the travelers' next move and in the promo, she's doing exactly that at the Grille. Damon probably takes one look at them talking and assumes he's cheating so that he can have something to tell Elena.

That would be such a failure ... like talking about Aaron and how Damon killed him but not even mentioning what he did with Jeremy. This is really low.

the show will probably have something with Liv... because they can't have Jeremy really do anything this season so hey, lets do another cheating / Love triangle kind of story line rather than something of value for them and oh yeah, lets have Damon be it in somehow too because Damon's awesome

No. I don't think that's an option. I'm still convinced Jeremy is asking Liv to help him torture Damon with her powers. That Elena will be upset because of it, and then it can be revealed that Damon killed Jeremy and he just wants to even the score.

I don't think she'll be knocked out for long, but I do think most of her screentime will be with Luke.
